Bell Globemedia/APTN, Aboriginal Communicators Professional Development Fund
The Bell Globemedia Aboriginal Communicators Professional Development Fund, the first of its kind, is supporting the training and development of Aboriginals working in the broadcasting industry. Those with a minimum 10 years experience are eligible to apply for training allowing them to further their careers through the Fund, made possible with $100,000 from Bell Globemedia. The Fund is being administered through the School of Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University. The maximum that a successful applicant may receive is $5,000. Applications will continue to be accepted and assessed until the fund has been completely distributed.
