APTN’s Acquisition Needs
APTN is looking for completed Canadian and international programs that have Aboriginal content, deal with Aboriginal issues and feature actors, directors or producers who are of Aboriginal descent. An Aboriginal person is defined to include First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples of Canada and includes Indigenous people from around the globe..
In addition, APTN occasionally requires special event programming for special occasions such as National Aboriginal Solidarity Day, Christmas or other seasonal holidays.
APTN also seeks acquisitions for its Short Cuts strand of programming, a block dedicated to showcasing short films from Indigenous filmmakers from around the world. Please contact acquisitions@aptn.ca for more information.
