APTN is a mandatory service available in over ten million Canadian households and commercial establishments with cable, direct-to-home satellite (DTH), telco-delivered and fixed wireless television service providers.

APTN reaches over three million viewers every week*. The APTN audience has increased at an astounding rate since its launch ten years ago.

Aboriginal Peoples are not part of the audience sampling frame according to BBM. As a result, the audience that is captured by APTN is non-Aboriginal only.

APTN is aimed at both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal audiences with programming to interest all viewers: children’s animation, youth shows, cultural and traditional programming, documentaries, music, drama, dance, movies, as well as live coverage of special events and interactive programming.
