Every spring in small communities from Ontario to BC, a few dozen aboriginal youth rejoice at their good luck, maybe the best luck they've had all their lives. They've got a ticket away from home for six weeks at least, and a chance to escape communities where they may be facing anything from boredom, poverty and a lack of options, to addiction, crime and violence. They could really make something of themselves, be somebody, have respect. They're going to become soldiers. (English)

A father and son - carrying the hopes and dreams of a nation - journey to Vancouver, to take in the greatest hockey spectacle ever - the Great Tournament. Also on the journey, some hockey greats - Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, Jarome Iginla, Daniel Alfredsson, Roberto Luongo, and Brian Burke. (English)
