About Hockey Night in Canada in Cree

APTN is bringing NHL coverage in Plains Cree back to Canadian screens with Hockey Night in Canada in Cree, on Saturday nights. The four-game national broadcast series will see APTN – the first national Indigenous broadcaster in the world – leverage Sportsnet’s NHL production to deliver exclusive Cree-language commentary and analysis to hockey fans across the country. Play-by-play announcer Clarence Iron returns with the call alongside host Earl Wood and analysts John Chabot and Jason Chamakese.

  • Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024: Toronto Maple Leafs at Winnipeg Jets, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT 
  • Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024: Calgary Flames at Edmonton Oilers, 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT 
  • Saturday, March 30, 2024: Carolina Hurricanes at Montreal Canadiens, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT 
  • Saturday, April 13, 2024: Montreal Canadiens at Ottawa Senators, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT
