SHOOMIS' LEGENDS

How did the trees get their names? How did the buffalo get its hump? Shoomis is an Elder who shares aboriginal legends with his grandson Billy, and the children watching at home. The kids also see how a birch bark canoe is built, followed by another episode of The Adventures of the Mushkego Kid. A part of APTN Kids' commercial-free block of programming, half of the show is in the OjiCree language.
