Mixed Blessings explores the lives of a blended family in small town Canada. Hank, a third generation Ukrainian with two teenagers, and Josie, a Cree woman with four kids, set up housekeeping together in a northern Alberta community. As they fumble to fuse their lives together, will the kids and the town rip them apart?

Josie and Hank are called to the hospital after Vicky, Bobbie and Mick are in a car accident. Hank, Tazz and Walt go to an emergency repair job in a work camp.
Baby on the way
Josie is pregnant? Hank had a vasectomy and denies the baby could be his. The family comes together to celebrate a new addition.
