Promotions Producer (Winnipeg)

We’re looking for a Promotions Producer who can make viewers stop, watch, and tune in!

In this role, you’ll create and support compelling content that promotes hit shows, blockbuster movies, and bold brand campaigns—keeping our brand buzzing across TV, radio, and online platforms. Highlights of this opportunity:

• Write and produce high-quality promos, including image pieces, stunt ads, and daily topicals;
• Select engaging video clips, choose music and sound effects, and work with editors to craft a concise, visually impactful story; highlighting key elements of shows or movies resonating with target audiences, capturing their attention from the first frame;
• Collaborate with the News team to coordinate story promotions and share promotional assets;
• Develop creative concepts to support other departments including programming, sales, and People and Culture;
• Ensure materials used in promotional content are properly cleared and compliant with legal and network brand standards;
• Support in developing graphics, branding elements, and visual treatments;
• Assist in selecting and hiring on-camera and voiceover talent;
• Plan and coordinate on-air placement and strategies to maximize viewer retention and engagement.

Your accomplishments and experience include:

• A diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., communications, broadcasting, media production) and proven relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and traditional knowledge;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Previous broadcasting experience and knowledge of video production software is an asset;
• Experience with Indigenous organizations and knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
