APTN brings Indigenous stories to audiences across Canada and around the world.

We are looking for those special and moving stories that are universally themed and will entertain viewers. Travel off the beaten path and seek out the stories that inspire and move you. Think big characters, personalities and story arcs, while remembering humour, drama, conflict and joy.

Here are the current Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Deadlines will vary for each RFP:

Scripted Feature Film RFP 2024
Request for proposals open: August 2, 2024
Deadline for applications: September 15, 2024, 5pm PT/CT/ET
Submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted or considered and incomplete submissions will be automatically declined by APTN.

CLOSED RFPs

Predevelopment and Development RFP 2024
Request for proposals open: April 15, 2024
Deadline for applications: August 15, 2024, 5pm PT/CT/ET

Feature Doc RFP 2023-2024
Deadline for submissions: This RFP will stay open until depletion of funds
