This role demands a keen eye and a proactive approach to ensure every feed reflects current branding strategies and initiatives while staying true to APTN’s culture and values. With a strong focus and attention to detail, you’ll conduct analytical reviews to keep our programming seamless and our audience engaged. Highlights of this opportunity:
- Be part of the team of one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers;
- Prepare daily broadcast logs and ensure hard copies and electronic files are exported, checked for versioning, and received in master control with a high degree of detail and accuracy;
- Monitor version, formats and V-chip ratings in traffic software to ensure accuracy and compliance in the broadcast log;
- Book advertiser contracts into the traffic system and manage inventory;
- Schedule all commercial creative in accordance with client contracts;
- Submit monthly CRTC reports electronically to the commission.
Your accomplishments and experience include:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, combined with proven relevant experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Broadcasting knowledge required;
- Experience in using Arvato (AdSales) Broadcast Management System is an asset;
- Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
