About One Dish One Spoon
One Dish One Spoon follows Chef Tawnya Brant as she embarks on a journey to strengthen food security and local economies in her home community of Six Nations. The Haudenosaunee people of Six Nations have practiced agriculture since time immemorial, but centuries of colonization have impacted food security in the region. Through the perspectives of family, fellow seed keepers, farmers, agricultural experts, historians and a few colourful personalities, One Dish One Spoon illustrates how community lies at the heart of food security.
