How it Works
APTN accepts second window proposals throughout the year until funds are exhausted.
We support content in a variety of formats, but we encourage you to reach out to the executive in charge of the type of programming you are creating. This will allow you to get a better sense of what specific topics and themes APTN is on the lookout for this year. Each programming executive’s name and contact is listed on the Connect With Us page.
How to Submit
Connect with the executive in charge of the type of programming you intend to submit. Producers must provide confirmation of financing by First Window Broadcaster, detailing their exclusivity period and media rights.
All submissions must be accompanied by the following:
- APTN Proposal Submission Agreement
- APTN Second Window Application Form
- Declaration of Related Party Transaction Form
- Individual Declaration of Indigenous Descent (or)
- Production Company Declaration of Indigenous Descent
What to Expect
Producers can expect a response within 10 weeks. If your submission is not selected during the 10-week review period, you will be contacted by the executive in charge of the type of programming you are creating. At that point, your submission will be deemed withdrawn and APTN will not have any rights or claims to it.
